Blue Water Seafood and Wine Cellar is offering new enticements to seafood and wine lovers. Along with a broader offering of wines by the glass, any bottle in the shop can be purchased to have with your meal at the retail price. No extra markup or corkage fee is added to your bill. Blue Water wine consultant Keith Dalbec, a Certified Wine Specialist, Society of Wine Educators is increasing the number of selections with carefully chosen seafood friendly wines. The store has wines of all types.
Blue Water Seafood and Wine Cellar has several upcoming events for the food and wine enthusiasts. April, 12 David and Tracy Griffin will offer an evening of seafood small plates matched with appropriate wines by their Wine Consultant Keith Dalbec. May 19, Richard McKinney of Tryon Distributors will present a tasting of spring and summer wine favorites. Blue Water will also provide light finger food. The event will be from 4PM to 7PM. Cost of the event is $10 per person. Call 697-0503 to sign up. 
“Wine Made Easy” a four session wine course will be offered by Blue Water Seafood and Wine Cellar Wine Consultant Keith Dalbec and owners David and Tracy Griffin. The class sessions teach the learner how to mindfully taste wine to enhance its
enjoyment with various foods. The major wine producing areas of the world will be virtually visited by experiencing the many wine varietals and styles of wine making in Europe and the New World. Students will be able to better interpret wine labels and feel more confident in wine stores and restaurants. Classes will be held from 6-7:30PM on May 3, 10, 17 and 24. Cost of the class is $100 for the four sessions. Seating is limited to 15 students. Call 697-0503 to reserve a seat.
