The Blue Water Seafood Company also specializes in fine seafood cuisine for the ultimate dining experience. The story of Blue Water Seafood Company starts with Tracy and David
Griffin. In their former lives, Tracy was a middle school teacher and
David was a police officer in Charlotte.
Chance or perhaps
destiny brought the two together. Love and marriage followed in short
order. Chance or perhaps destiny struck again as the couple had the
opportunity to buy the seafood market. The Griffins decided to move the
restaurant a few blocks away from it’s original location nestled in
Hendersonville to a 1920’s home. The Griffins rolled up their sleeves
and renovated this former residence. With the help of their friends and
family, they turned the former home into an awe inspiring seafood and
wine market. The café portion of the building has a colorful atmosphere
with an intimate ambiance.
Tracy and David Griffin have been
living their dream at Blue Water Seafood since 2003. The people of
Hendersonville are considered family to the Griffins. It is a dream they
continue to work hard for and it is a dream that they would not trade
for anything. As Tracy states “It takes 22 hours a day and 7 days a week
for us to function with our business, but it also takes the love and
devotion of our family.” The Griffins and their staff truly do pass on
their love and devotion to every patron that walks through the door at
the Blue Water Seafood Company and Wine Market.
The Griffins have recently opened a SECOND location at 94 Charlotte
Street in Asheville NC. The entire Blue Water Crew is looking forward

WE ARE OPEN!!!! After many attempts and much consideration, Blue Water Seafood CO. has made the decision to open our SECOND location in ASHEVILLE! That's right! We are very excited to announce our newest venture is located at 94 Charlotte Street Asheville NC ( Next door to City Bakery!) We will be open from 10am-7pm Monday thru Saturday!
Stop by and pick up your fresh fish, shellfish, clams, oysters, lobsters, and more! We will also be serving lunch as well... Our Fresh inhouse made Fish chowder, Gumbos, Ciopinnos and more! Stop in and nosh on Lobster Rolls, Steamed Shrimp, Clams, Mussels, Oysters on the half ---the decisions are endless!!!
